We ship within India only.

Orders ship within 1 to 2 working days. Orders placed after 5:00 PM count from the next working day. Working days are Monday to Saturday, except bank holidays.

Every order goes by air: 2 to 4 days to cities with an airport, up to 2 days more to other areas.

Shipping is free on orders of Rs. 2,499 and above, and on any order of three or more pieces. Below that it is Rs. 100 for one piece and Rs. 140 for two. You get tracking by email when it leaves.

If a parcel comes back to us, we keep it for 60 days. Write within that time to have it shipped again for Rs. 200.

If the courier confirms a parcel is lost, or it has not arrived 15 days after it shipped, email hello@defaultbasics.com and we replace it.

Every piece is made for your order, so we do not take returns or exchanges for a change of mind or a size that does not fit.

If a piece arrives damaged, defective or wrong, email hello@defaultbasics.com within 48 hours of delivery with the order number, photos of the piece and a video of the parcel being opened. We arrange a replacement.

Keep the hang tag on until you are sure the piece is right. For a replacement, the hang tag must still be attached and uncut, and show in your photos and video. A piece with its tag cut off cannot be replaced.

If we cannot replace a piece, we refund it in full.

The refund reaches the same card, UPI or bank account within 5 to 7 working days of our approval.

Orders cannot be cancelled once they are placed. Work on each order starts within the hour.

UPI, cards and net banking. We do not offer cash on delivery.

All prices are in rupees and include GST.

We keep what an order needs: your name, email, phone number, address and order history. Nothing else.

We use it to make and deliver your order and to answer you. We never sell it.

Ask us and we delete it, unless the law says we must keep a record. The full policy is under Policies.

Prices and stock can change until you place an order. An order is a contract once it is confirmed.

Photos are as true to colour as a screen allows. Made in India.

Measured on the garment, laid flat, in inches. Chest is measured all the way round.

The fit is fixed: the same size fits the same, every order. Not sure? Lay a tee you like flat, measure it and pick the closest size.

Caps and the bucket hat are one size, adjustable at the back.

Every garment
Machine wash cold and inside out on a gentle cycle, with mild detergent and similar colours. Tumble dry low, or hang dry in the shade. Use non-chlorine bleach only if you must. Iron inside out, and never over the mark inside the neck.

Terry oversized tees · 260 GSM
DEAD PIXEL, HOT PIXEL, SLEEP MODE, OVERHEAT, HIBERNATE and HOT SWAP. Iron cool, only if needed. Do not dry clean.

Acid wash tees · 240 GSM
STATIC, GLITCH and REWIND. The wash comes out slightly different on every piece, so no two are quite the same. Iron cool, only if needed. Do not dry clean.

Tie-dye tees and shorts · 260 GSM
SEPIA, OVEREXPOSED, DARKROOM and FLASH. Each piece is hand tie-dyed, so wash it with similar colours.

Terry shorts and sweatpants · 260 GSM
SHORTCUT, ALT TAB and QUICK SAVE: iron cool, only if needed. PAUSE and SNOW: iron inside out.

Hoodies and jacket
LOW POWER, POWER SAVE, NOISE FLOOR and FIRMWARE: iron inside out. SHUTTER, the 400 GSM zip hoodie: iron cool, only if needed, and do not dry clean.

Caps and bucket hat
TAPE, BACKSPACE, CARET, BUFFER, LOADING and LENS HOOD. Spot clean or hand wash gently, and air dry in shape.
