Who we are
DEFAULT is a brand of Prakriti Van Private Limited, Block L, Royal Oak Enclaves 2, 6th Street, Senthil Nagar, Perungudi, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600096. In this policy, "we" means Prakriti Van Private Limited.

What we collect
We keep what an order needs, and nothing else:
- your name, email address and phone number
- your delivery and billing address
- what you ordered, and when
- messages you send us
Your payment details go straight to the payment provider. We never see your full card number.
Your default size, saved in Settings, stays on your own device.
The site uses cookies to keep your cart and to see how the site is used. You can turn off cookies that are not needed.
Why we use it
- To make, ship and deliver your order.
- To answer you when you write to us.
- To keep the records the law asks for, such as GST invoices.
- To send restock notes, only if you ticked the box. You can stop them at any time with the link in each message.
We never sell your information.
Who we share it with
Only the people who need it to get your order to you:
- Shopify, which runs the store
- the partners who make and ship your order
- couriers, who deliver them
- our payment provider, which processes payments
How long we keep it
As long as you have an account or an open order. Invoices and tax records are kept for 8 years, as Indian tax law requires. After that we delete it.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:
- ask what information we hold about you
- ask us to correct it or bring it up to date
- ask us to delete it, unless the law says we must keep it
- withdraw consent for restock notes
- name someone to act for you if you cannot

Children
DEFAULT is not for people under 18 without a parent or guardian's consent.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update it here. If the change is significant, we email you first.
